This theme focuses on proven, effective strategies for healthcare organizations to promote change based on evidence-informed policy or management decisions. The Foundation’s work in this theme area will help us move in the direction suggested by our international review panel — that is, advance our role in enabling healthcare institutions to adopt the results of existing and new health services and policy research. With a better understanding of decision-making processes and change management and implementation processes, we aim to enable healthcare organizations to better align themselves with the best available evidence and/or promising practices.
