Report: Effective Governance for Quality and Safety in Canadian Healthcare Organization
Commissioned by CHSRF in partnership with CPSI, this report by Ross Baker and colleagues explores the structures, processes and tools used by effective governing boards of healthcare organizations, and the strategies and tactics that can be employed by boards in their efforts to improve governance for quality and patient safety. The report also offers recommendations for board members and executives of healthcare organizations and for policy makers.
